Celebrate the fantastic work conservationists do with us during Conservation Professionals Week!

This year's theme is "Faces of Conservation." When most people hear "conservation professional," they most likely think of a wildlife biologist or a park ranger. While these are two important jobs in conservation, they are only two of the hundreds of roles conservationists play in preserving our world's natural resources. Throughout the week, we will pull back the curtain and showcase the wide variety of roles and jobs in conservation across sectors and geographies. We will also release new resources and have a "Guess Who" game on social media.

This year, we will also host a virtual "Conservation and Cocktails" celebration, with a fun conservation-themed cocktail, networking, and games with members nationwide.

How you can engage:

  • Post your conservation story on social media and tag us, or use our hashtag: #FacesOfConservation.
  • Like, comment, and share our posts throughout the week to spread the word about the amazing work conservation professionals are doing.
  • Participate in our "Guess Who" game on our Facebook and Instagram stories. Stay tuned for more details!
  • Attend the Conservation and Cocktails celebration on Wednesday, August 28, at 5 p.m. CT.
  • Host a local social with your chapter or fellow conservation besties.
  • If you work for a larger organization, encourage your colleagues or organization to post throughout the week.
