Are you a farmer interested in using river-friendly, regenerative practices to raise livestock? Sign up for the Cumberland River Compact’s Spring 2026 Grazing School in West Tennessee this May!
The course will be led by grazing specialist Greg Brann and the Cumberland River Compact at Preuett Grass Cattle Farm in Troy, TN. This workshop will take a deep dive into the many benefits and challenges of a multi-paddock, managed grazing system.
The first part of the course will be spent in the “classroom” and the second half in the field. Learn how to increase stocking density, make the most of marginal land, provide water access to remote parts of your farm, and more. Additionally, attendees are eligible for cost-share funding through the Compact to install exclusion fencing along creeks, streams, and rivers.
Lunch will be provided. This class is free, thanks to funding from the NASDA Foundation and Southern SARE.

This event was organized by ELP participant Kaela Walton-Sather, Working Lands Division Manager, Cumberland River Compact.
