Learn about latest developments in cover cropping in the Northeastern United States!

The second Northeast Cover Crops Council Conference will be held at the Ramada Inn, State College, PA, on Nov. 15 with a field day on Nov. 16, 2018. It features Ontario grain farmer Blake Vince on "Improving soil with roots not iron" and UMD soils professor Ray Weil on his cover crop research, as well as 40 breakout and poster presentations on the latest in cover crop research and applications in the Northeast.

The conference includes generous networking opportunities during the poster session, “World Café” discussions, a social hour and a field day at the Penn State Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center.

The conference is organized by the Northeast Cover Crops Council (NECCC) with support from PASA and NE SARE.

The NECCC consists of farmers and representatives from NGOs, the ag industry, government agencies including USDA NRCS and USDA ARS, and universities. The mission of the NECCC is to support the successful implementation of cover crops to maximize economic, environmental, and social benefits.
