Michigan Chapter Annual Meeting
(held in conjunction with the Michigan Association of Conservation Districts Fall Convention)

We will announce results of election of officers and conduct other Society business. We will arrange a video or teleconference connection for those who cannot attend in person. Members do not have to register for the MACD conference to attend the Chapter's Annual Meeting of the Fall Field Trip. However, attendees will not be allowed to attend any of the MACD events such as programs or meals unless they do register. One day registrations are available and encouraged (click website link here to register).

Dan Busby (MDARD and SWCS Region 2 Representative) and Pepper Bromelmeier (Antrim County NRCS) have organized a tour of Providence Farms & Community Supported Agriculture operation owned by Ryan and Andrea Romeyn. Participants can learn about their unique conservation practices on a certified organic farm that grows more than 200 varieties of certified organic vegetables. They also raise pastured pork, beef, and lamb; market produce from the farm; and run a thriving cafe.
