Prepare for Conservation Professionals Week by getting to know the newest members of the SWCS Board of Directors. Reflecting the breadth of the conservation profession, our board brings together leaders from across sectors, disciplines, geographies, and areas of expertise, united by a shared commitment to advancing soil and water conservation.
Founded by SWCS, Conservation Professionals Week is celebrated annually during the week leading up to Labor Day (August 31–September 4 this year). The week recognizes the people behind conservation, celebrates their impact, and raises awareness of the essential work they do to protect our soil, water, and natural resources.
During this interactive webinar, you'll hear from several incoming board members as they share their professional journeys, perspectives on the future of conservation, and what inspired them to serve SWCS. You'll also learn more about the Society's strategic direction, have the opportunity to ask questions, share your ideas and perspectives directly with board members, and discover ways to get involved in Conservation Professionals Week and shaping the future of SWCS.
