Join the Iowa Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society for the 2024 Summer Meeting hosted by the SW Area Chair! Meet at the Wallace Learning Center at the ISU Research and Demonstration Farm near Lewis (Cass County, Iowa). Attendees can arrive at 9:30 a.m. to check in, network, and enjoy morning refreshments (fresh-brewed coffee, tea, juice, and baked goods) before morning presentations begin at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will be catered by Downtowner Café & Catering based in Atlantic (locally raised beef or vegetarian option). After lunch, there will be an afternoon presentation followed by a tour of the George B. Hitchcock House, a site on the Underground Railroad. Afterward, attendees are encouraged to gather at Cold Springs Park for the Post Meeting Social (bring your own beverage and bring your own fishing pole, if interested.
PRE-REGISTER BY JUNE 5. Don't forget to select a meal choice (beef /vegetarian) for all attendees.
