This year’s event will be held at the Story County Conservation Center at McFarland Park in Ames, followed by a field activity at Doolittle Prairie.

The program features engaging presentations on river stewardship, Iowa’s long-term amphibian monitoring, and community science efforts to conserve pollinators. • “Conserving Iowa’s Bumble Bees Through Community Science” – Sarah Nizzi, NRCS Partner Biologist

  • Native Seed Harvest at Doolittle Prairie with Story County Conservation

The meeting will conclude with a social gathering at The Open Flame in Gilbert, IA, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow conservationists in a casual setting.
