May 20, 2026 - May 22, 2026
This gathering brings together people from across Alaska to talk about pollinators, the roles they play in our cultures, communities, and ecosystems, and the many ways we can steward them. We aim to create space for knowledge exchange, shared learning, and collaboration among Tribes, communities, organizations, agencies, and researchers.
Over three days, participants will work in small groups to develop a draft pollinator stewardship plan or project for their community or region. Centering community needs, goals, and perspectives, researchers and agency staff will offer technical knowledge and resources to guide groups through the planning process.
We hope this gathering sparks new ideas and partnerships in support of our pollinator relatives and helps grow a community-rooted network of pollinator
stewards across Alaska.
Thank you for joining us,
The Caring for Pollinators Steering Committee and supporting partners
