This conference provides a forum for exploring and promoting science based knowledge about management practices that protect land and river ecologies and make them productive and more resilient. The conference also provides training information exchange, development of professional relationships and technology in all disciplines related to NRCS work.

12:30 -1pm Registration @ Legacy of the Plains Museum
1:00- 2:30pm - Kevin Hutsell-  Irrigation Water Management Training  

  • Soil -Water relationship
  • Completion of irrigation water management job sheets
  • Environmental Quality Incentive versus Conservation Stewardship Irrigation water management criteria.

2:30- 3:00pm -Break
3:00-4:00pm-  Gary Stone- History of irrigation in North Platte Valley
