As a professional conservationist, YOU are invited to the Keystone Chapter’s annual meeting on Thursday March 22, 2018, at the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture headquarters building in Harrisburg!  You do not need to be a member to attend, although you will not be able to vote in business decisions if you are not a member. If you can’t make the in-person meeting, we have a conference call in option below.

Please join us to learn about our Cover Crop Mini-Grants Program, other educational program initiatives, and ongoing activities the chapter carries out. We will hear from Wendi Goldsmith, our Northeast Regional Representative, and Clare Lindahl, the new CEO of the Society headquartered in Ankeny.  They both will share success stories from other chapters and update us about Society happenings including a new Members Matter Campaign. Plus, some exciting news that the 2019 International Annual Conference will be held in late July of 2019 in Pennsylvania.  As this year’s local conservation accomplishments are next year’s stories, let’s work together to achieve and highlight the very best of Pennsylvania’s Conservation and Stewardship in 2019.

To learn more about the Keystone Chapter of SWCS, check out our website here.

If you plan to attend the annual meeting, please RSVP to President Dan Dostie by March 16 and let him know if you can join in-person so we can make sure we have enough refreshments or if you want copies of meeting materials and the access code to follow along if you plan to join us remotely.

So, students, educators, and researchers, extension agents and private consultants, district managers and staff, federal and state government employees, non-profit advocates and sponsors – calling all conservation professionals!  Get ready to finish your current conservation projects and publish papers or develop a poster in time for next winter’s publishing deadlines so you can come to the 2019 Annual Conference and share your successes and lessons learned.  Wondering precisely where the conference will be in 2019?  Join us on March 22 to find out!
