Rose is a Research Scientist at ISG Inc, Minnesota. In her role she helps clients develop sustainable water resource strategies by translating complex environmental data into clear, actionable recommendations that support planning, policy, and ecosystem health. Her expertise includes water quality monitoring, soil health, environmental data analysis, project management, and modeling. She is committed to advancing sustainable outcomes that support healthy aquatic ecosystems and resilient communities.
Rose has been a member of the Soil and Water Conservation Society (SWCS) since 2024. She earned her PhD in Soil Science from Purdue University, an MS in Environmental Science from Tennessee State University, and an MS in Advanced Life Science (Biotechnology) from Ritsumeikan University in Japan. Her academic and professional background spans environmental science, water quality, soil systems, and ecosystem management.
Throughout her career, Rose has worked across both the agriculture and environmental sectors, serving on the Field Experimentation Team at Corteva and as a Water Quality Scientist at B360 Inc. in Washington, DC. Prior to her work in the United States, she was an educator in Kenya and Japan, partnering with local communities to support learning and development. Across all her roles, Rose has remained committed to advancing sustainable solutions, supporting underserved communities, and mentoring students interested in environmental and agricultural sciences.
