These proceedings come from the conference called “Crop Residue Management for Conservation,” held on August 8-9, 1991, in Kentucky. The two purposes of the conference were to hear expert reports of new technology and techniques for crop residue management to establish a baseline of thinking for the implementation of conservation efforts and to initiate discussion that would encourage adoption of the technology and techniques. This booklet includes the expert reports as well as a summary of the regional discussion about what limitations exist for residue management.
