Stormwater Technician - City of Eagan, Minnesota

The City of Eagan is hiring a Stormwater Technician to support the implementation of the City’s Water Quality and Wetland Management and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP). The position will have an emphasis on applying knowledge and experience of urban stormwater management for compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) programs to ensure entities comply with requirements and standards. Conservation Specialist - Iowa County Land Conservation Department

The Iowa County Land Conservation Department is seeking applicants for a full-time Conservation Specialist position. This position works with the Wisconsin Farmland Preservation (FPP), NR 151 and USDA programs.  Position performs planning/technical services that meet the standards of Natural Resources Conservation Services including, but not limited to: contacting landowners, conservation planning, design, and laying out of conservation practices, serving a primary contact for FPP, assisting with FPP compliance issues, and assisting with Conservation Planning and Nutrient Management. Starting pay is $22.64/hr. and a generous, comprehensive benefit package is provided.

Minimum qualifications include but are not limited to the following: Bachelor’s Degree in Soil Science, Natural Resources, Agronomy, or closely related field plus one (1) year experience, or an Associate’s Degree plus at least three (3) years of experience in a conservation field. Must have valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for work-related duties.  Preference for two (2) years or more of directly related job experience, experience with Nutrient Management Planning, proficiency using SnapPlus, RUSLE2, Customer Service Toolkit, ArcMap, databases, and Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) status through the American Society of Agronomy.

Field Researcher - Pollinator Partnership

The Pollinator Partnership (P2) seeks to hire a motivated, detail-oriented Field Researcher in Northwest Arkansas. The Field Researcher will provide programmatic support for P2’s Monarch Wings Across America (MWAA) program. MWAA involves a multi-component campaign to addressing the recent alarming decline in monarchs and the fragmentation of the annual migration through research, ground-truthing, technical guidance and outreach. MWAA supports the spectacular migration through monarch habitat planting.

Wetland Regulatory Expert (Environmental Specialist 5)

The Shorelands and Environmental Assistance (SEA) program is looking to hire a Wetland Regulatory Expert (Environmental Specialist 5) position. This position will be located in our Northwest Regional Office (NWRO) in Bellevue, WA.

The Wetland Regulatory Expert position will serve as the program's regulatory expert in wetland management to guide administration of the state's Water Pollution Control Act, wetland and water quality-related elements of the state Shoreline Management Act, Section 401 of the Federal Clean Water Act, and other related duties necessary to protect and manage the state's shoreline and wetland resources.
