Thank you for agreeing to present at the 74th SWCS International Annual Conference. Below you will find information regarding your presentation. A PDF of information for conference presenters is available.
Oral Presenters: Please bring an appropriate length PowerPoint (not to exceed 25 slides) on a USB drive to the conference. Remember to consider limiting text on slides and including meaningful graphics and representative images. A tech support volunteer will be available to assist with presentation uploading and transition. Handouts are welcome but are your responsibility. We advise you to report to your presentation room no less than 15 minutes prior to the first session start time.
Poster Presenters: SWCS will provide 4’ (height) x 8’ (width) display boards and pins for your posters. You are responsible for delivery, set-up, and removal of your poster. Poster set-up is Sunday, July 28, from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, or Monday, July 29 from 6:30 AM - 7:00 AM. You will receive your poster location prior to arrival. Poster presenters are expected to be at their posters during all conference refreshment breaks and during the Exhibitor and Poster Reception to answer questions and explain experiences and results. Poster removal is Tuesday, July 30, from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM. Any posters that have not been removed by 5:30 PM will be discarded.
Symposia Presenters: Organizers of symposia sessions will act as the room moderator. We ask that you introduce speakers and act as the time-keeper in the room to be sure sessions begin and end accordingly. You will be assigned a tech support volunteer to assist with presentation uploading and transition. We advise you to report to your presentation room no less than 15 minutes prior to your session start time. Be sure to view the information for symposia organizers for additional information.
All Presenters: In order to remain on the conference agenda, you must be registered on or before June 19, 2019. Any presenter not registered by June 19, 2019 will be removed from the agenda. The meeting rooms are equipped with internet, lectern, wireless microphone, AV cart, laptop, screen, projector, extension cord, and a slide advance remote. Please note that all presenters are required to utilize the laptop provided in the meeting room.
Your abstract will be published in the SWCS Abstract Book following the conference, and your PowerPoint presentation will be shared via SWCS’s SlideShare account. If you do not wish to have your presentation posted to SlideShare, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
