4.  Briefly explain how the nominee's accomplishments relate to the society's mission.

The Supporting material should include

• Three letters of support are required for this nomination. Additional letters of support will not be accepted.
• A maximum limit of 10 pages for nomination narratives.  We suggest using Times New Roman 12 point, 1.5 line spacing and margins equal to or greater than .75 inches on all sides
• The supporting material, in narrative form, should clearly document nominee's:
  • The service and accomplishments of the nominee shall have made major and widely recognized contributions to the conservation of natural resources on national and international levels. These accomplishments shall be consistent with the goals and objectives of the Society
  • The nominee's accomplishments relate to the Society's mission
  • Professional achievement
  • Impact on conservation and/or management of natural resources
  • Service to the Society as a member or non-member
  • Service to other professional organizations
  • Publications and presentations at professional meetings.
• A Curriculum Vitae for the Nominee must accompany the Award Nomination Questionnaire. (Maximum limit of 20 pages – we suggest using Times New Roman 12 point, 1.5 line spacing and margins equal to or greater than .75 inches on all sides)

Award nominations may be submitted by email to: awards@swcs.org or by US Postal Service (1 copy only) to SWCS-Awards, 945 SW Ankeny Road, Ankeny, Iowa 50023-9723). Nominations must be received by February 12.  Both forms of submission will receive a confirmation of receipt. Late nominations will not be considered.
