The Soil and Water Conservation Society conference brings together researchers, administrators, planners, policymakers, technical advisors, teachers, students, farmers, and ranchers. The 2006 annual conference is expected to draw as many as 1,000 participants. You’ll have a great opportunity for explaining your organization’s activities and explaining your products so participants can take the information back with them to all areas of the world and tell their colleagues. SWCS is unique because our members are those working in academia AND working directly with the producer. Highlighted topics include: 1) Water Use and Management—Learning to Live with Limits 2) The Science of Targeting, and 3) Conservation and the 2007 Farm Bill. The 60-year-old conference is a combination of workshops, plenary and concurrent sessions, and educational tours.
