Oil Spill Discussion (Tuesday Breakfast)

Conservation and Oil in the Gulf
Tuesday, July 20 - 7:15 a.m.
Lindbergh Room
On Tuesday morning of the conference, please join Program Committee Chair Rebecca Power, University of Wisconsin-Extension for coffee, pastry, and an update on three different aspects of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. Nathaniel Ostrom, Michigan State University, will discuss preliminary research on relationship between the oil spill and hypoxia in the gulf and Michele Laur, USDA-NRCS, will discuss the logistics, training, and operations undertaken by NRCS across the region locally.  This event is made possible through a generous sponsorship by the Sand County Foundation.
