We invite all conservation professionals to review the call for presentations and contribute to the educational content of the program. Before submitting an abstract, please review detailed descriptions for the topic areas and guidance from the Program Committee.
Poster abstracts will be accepted through March 15, 2010.

2010 SWCS International Annual Conference
Join your colleagues in St. Louis for the 65th annual international conference of the Soil and Water Conservation Society. The conference, held July 18-21, includes workshops, concurrent sessions, symposia, posters, plenary sessions, and technical tours designed to raise the awareness of conference participants to recent developments in the science and art of natural resource conservation and environmental management. The 2010 conference will take place at the Hilton at the Ballpark in downtown St. Louis.
The Soil and Water Conservation Society (SWCS) is a nonprofit scientific and educational organization founded in 1943. Our mission is to foster the science and art of natural resources conservation and environmental management on working land – the land used to produce food, fiber, and other services that improve the quality of life people experience in rural and urban communities. We work to discover, develop, implement, and constantly improve ways to use land that sustains its productive capacity and enhances the environment at the same time.

2010 SWCS International Annual Conference
Hundreds of conservation professionals will gather in St. Louis this summer for the 65th annual international conference of the Soil and Water Conservation Society. The conference, held July 18-21, includes four workshops, more than 300 presentations through concurrent sessions, symposia, and posters, three plenary sessions (one on Gulf Hypoxia and two on Ecosystem Services), and seven technical tours. All are designed to raise the awareness of conference participants to recent developments in the science and art of natural resource conservation and environmental management.
