The Soil and Water Conservation Society (SWCS) has closed the Call for Papers for the 2008 annual conference in Tucson, Arizona. Presentations will report the results of research and evaluation projects, and/or lessons learned from professional experience working with conservation and environmental management technologies, programs and policies. Please check back in January for a list of accepted presentations.

Program topics and area of emphasis
Our primary focus is on the science and art of natural resource conservation and environmental management on working land, but we welcome and encourage reports of knowledge gained from management of parks, wildlife refuges, and other land uses. Please consider submitting a proposal which addresses one or more of the general topic areas or the area of special emphasis outlined below. A list of illustrative examples of presentations and issue areas descriptions is available online.
