The Soil and Water Conservation Society (SWCS) is commited to researching and the sharing new ideas on conservation.
SWCS undertakes special projects to focus attention on key issues confronting conservation professionals and the conservation movement.Special projects are designed to inform policymakers through analysis and evaluation of legislation and government programs, highlight key scientific developments that create opportunities to improve the effectiveness of conservation practices, systems, and programs, anticipate problems and opportunities that will confront conservationists in the future, and explore innovative solutions to conservation challenges.
