The Soil and Water Conservation Society has three opportunities at the international level for scholarships. Many other opportunities for scholarships are available through individual chapters and information for those scholarships can be found on the individual chapter websites.
The Society’s Awards Committee will evaluate and rank nominees. Recommendations will be presented to the Board of Directors for final approval. Recognition of all scholarship recipients will be made at the Soil and Water Conservation Society Annual Conference.
Applications may be emailed to: sueann.lynes@swcs.org. You may also submit applications by U.S. Postal Service (1 copy only) to: SWCS-Scholarships, 945 SW Ankeny Rd., Ankeny, IA 50023. You may fax letters of recommendation to 515-289-1227. Applications must be received by February 13. All forms of submission will receive a confirmation of receipt. Late applications will not be considered.
Please be aware that you must be a member of the Soil and Water Conservation Society for at least 1 year to apply for these scholarships. Opportunities for scholarships are as follows:

3. Student Leader Conservation Scholarship—made possible by Melville H. Cohee
